It uses SQL as its database access language.
ODBC is designed for maximum interoperability. Database applications make function calls in the ODBC interface; these calls are implemented in so called database-drivers.
ActiveXperts Network Monitor uses ODBC to check availability of a variety of databases. The vast majority of the database systems support ODBC, incl.: MS SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle, Paradox, SyBase, Informix, OpenIngres, Progress and AS/400.
Configure ODBC first from the Windows control panel.
